Welcome to Vopag
The Village Older Person's Action group has been set up as part of the Chalfont St Peter Village Appraisal to give the older people of Chalfont St Peter the opportunity to meet together as citizens and exchange views, news and information of interest and concern.
It provides an authoritative voice to take up issues with people who can do something about them. We have speakers at our monthly meetings who talk on various topics of interest to our members. If you would like to highlight an issue that concerns you - or just want to have a coffee and a chat....
Come Along to Meet Us!
Membership is free, but visitors to our meetings are invited to donate £2 to our funds.
The next meeting will be be onTuesday 16th April. The speaker will be Jim Ballantyne. His subject is interesting rail journeys.
Meetings start with coffee at 10am and finish about 12 noon. We normally meet in the Community Centre, Gravel Hill. (Off the A413, near the ambulance station and the football club).
VOPAG is a member of Bucks 50 Plus Forum

All bookings and payments for these outings must be made at our regular meetings.
In April the NHS and South Central Ambulance Service launched a service
which you can book to get you to a hospital appointment.
You can book this by calling 0300 100 0015.
You will need details of your appointment and NHS number and GP practice.
This service is called NEPTS. There is a website but it gives no details of costs.
We hope to have brochures at the next VOPAG meeting in June.
Members of Vopag are encouraged to consider becoming involved with their surgery's Patient Participation Group. Details of this should be availble at their surgery.
