The Heritage Society was formed in 1987 as a meeting place for all who are interested in the history of the town and its neighbouring communities.
Its aims are:
- to support conservation of the historical environment
- to gather and protect items relating to local history.
- to share that knowledge through talks, walks and publications.
We extend a warm welcome to new members, including long term local residents and those who have recently moved into the area.
The Society holds evening meetings at Princes Risborough Baptist Church, 42 Bell Street, at 7.30 pm on the second Tuesday of the month from September to April.
During the summer months, this is complemented by related walks and guided tours of the Conservation Area, as part of the Town Festival and on request for other societies, schools, or simply for groups of friends.
A reminder that our next talk will be on Tuesday 11thSeptember 2018. Ian Scott Hunter will present 'Memoirs of a Royal Footman.
