2017 event

Final results for the Penn Seven and the Super Fun Run are available here.

Some photographs from both events are available here.

Each June, the villages of Penn and Tylers Green host a 7 mile road race and a fun run to raise money for charity. These races, which have been held every year since 1984, have raised a total of over £270,000.  Click here to see a list of the charities and funds raised for each year.

The 2017 Penn Seven and Super Fun Run are being held on Sunday 18th June. Click Penn Seven or Super Fun Run for more details of each event, including how to enter.

This year, we will be supporting Buckinghamshire Mind. As the name implies, this is a local charity, although affiliated to the nationwide charity Mind.  Bucks Mind provides support and represents people with mental health needs in the local community.

Bucks Mind was specifically chosen in memory of village stalwart Jim Hawes, who so tragically died during a spell of depression last year. Jim contributed so much to village events, including, of course, the Penn Seven and Super Fun Run.  He is sadly missed in the village.

If you live in or close to Penn or Tylers Green, would you be willing to lend a hand with organising 2017's event?  We would love a few more people to help.  It will not be a big commitment, but it is a very worthwhile cause and it is a great way to meet more people in the village.  So please contact Phil (817614) or Geoff (813287).
