The club is a only short time from its 100th birthday and it is a marvellous tribute to all current and past club members who have strived continuously and unselfishly to maintain the unique bowls experience at Marlow. For all those people new to the area there is an abundance of sporting activities and hobbies to be found in and around Marlow but it has to be said that one very special place is Marlow Bowls Club.
We are proud to be not only an important sporting base in Marlow but a vital support organisation for all the people within the local community and we are putting a lot of effort and time into cultivating a youth policy for the young people of Marlow.
We have been fortunate to see our match reports being regularly shown in both the Bucks Free Press and the Maidenhead Advertiser last year and we send our massive thanks for their support and we are also grateful to the support offered by both Marlow FM and Wycombe Sound Radio who have both featured interviews about the club. Lastly there is a huge thanks to the coaches and members of Marlow BC who give their time and effort towards the constant recruitment process that keeps Marlow Bowls Club on course for a successful future.
Their efforts are extremely important.
The Short Mat season has now come to a close but turn to the Short Mat Bowls page and check out the games and results that ended the season for them .
Marlow Bowls Club is a marvellous venue at which both men and women can participate at all levels of bowling ability and we try to encompass all age groups, so if you want to get involved with the bowls club phone or email us and we will return your interest. See contact details at the bottom of this page.
If you wish to find out about the County matches you have entered for next summer please go to the Links page on this site and click on Bucks Bowls and look for Mens or Womens Competitions. You can also find out the Bucks County League Bowls and Bucks Cup fixtures on the same website.
The Club Fixtures page gives you a layout of all the club fixtures throughout the season and when possible a breakdown of the teams selected and directions etc.
The News and Views page gives you notice of various announcements and snippets of news relating to the club, and is probably the best page to look at on a regular basis, particularly pre-season.
The Discussions page is currently undergoing changes.
The Photo Album is available for all bowls related pictures and club members are invited to submit any snaps for inclusion. Preferably by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Useful Links page provides websites that should be of interest to most of you. Although we cannot vouch for the weather on the weather site too accurately ?
The Forms and Documents page contains several items including the Membership Application form, Short Mat Newsletter, and Club Competition form, plus others.
