  • Ickford and District Darby & Joan Club- We hold our Luncheon Club at 1.00pm on the second Wednesday of every month at Ickford Village Hall.  Members get together for a home cooked lunch, entertainment and a good old chinwag! Along with the occasional outing. The annual Christmas lunch always provides a great opportunity for new members and guests to come and see what it is all about, meet up with new friends or re-kindle old friendships.   •  Fish Scheme - The Fish Scheme is made up of a band of helpers who are willing to act as good neighbours to those around them.  They form a reservoir of people who can be contacted when a need arises. If you are willing to be available to help with such jobs as - shopping for the frail or disabled, collecting prescriptions, helping someone after discharge from hospital, taking the elderly to doctors or hospital appointments. The Village Coordinator Helen Woodham can be contacted on 339683.

Ickford WI - The present Ickford WI was started in May 2014.  Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at 7.30pm in Ickford Village Hall.  All women from Ickford and surrounding villages are welcome.  Our aim is to meet with our neighbours and to make new friends with Ickford and neighbouring villages.  Our meeting are varied with speakers, social evenings and demonstrations. In addition we have several interest groups.  Gardening, walking, cycling, book club and more to be announced.

The president for 2014 is Mrs Vivienne Hayday.  For further information contact Ruth Baker (secretary) at or phone 339502.  You are welcome to a first free visit before deciding to join us.  Some meetings with speakers will be open to visitors for a voluntary donation of £5.00.
