BucksVoice is Closing
Since 2005 BucksVoice (previously BucksInfo) has been providing the ability for voluntary, community groups and not for profit organisations to have a free website.
However, from the 31st March 2020 BucksVoice will cease to exist and all websites and content hosted on it will be unavailable to everyone, including you.
Why is BucksVoice closing?
BucksInfo was established in 2005 to provide an easy and affordable way for community organisations to have a basic web presence when there was limited ability to do so in the market. Since 2012 the service has been known as BucksVoice and has been funded independently of Buckinghamshire County Council.
This independent funding has come to an end and so, sadly, BucksVoice.net will close on 31st March 2020.
What do I need to do?
If you still require a website, you will need to make alternative arrangements for your site before the 31st March 2020. After this date your website on BucksVoice will cease to exist, will not be visible and you will not have access to your content as an administrator. You may wish to consider setting up a website with a new provider or using social media.
If you have content on your BucksVoice website that you will want to keep then you will have to download it by the 31st March 2020, as you will not have access to it after this date.
