St Michael's Church

Welcome to St. Michael’s Church, situated in the village of Steeple Claydon. It is one of three churches within the benefice of the Claydons in North Buckinghamshire, and also part of the Claydons and Swan Team.

We are a Christian fellowship welcoming to all regardless of age, background or experience. We are seeking to make relevant connections with all newcomers, visitors, the communities around us, and any who are in need. We enjoy traditional and contemporary worship, and have active prayer ministry within the congregation.

St Michael's Church is located in the Village of 'Steeple Claydon', (near Buckingham). If arriving via Buckingham, travel down the 'Buckingham Road' until you reach a T-junction, turn left onto Queen Catherine Road, and follow until you arrive at the Church. If arriving via Middle Claydon, you are already on Queen Catherine Road, just follow it into the village and the Church will be on your right. If arriving via Aylesbury direction, you will enter the village on West Street, continue up West Street, turning right onto Chaloners Hill, which merges into Queen Catherine Road.  Continue along Queen Catherine Road, the church will be on your left.  Postcode for Sat Nav: MK18 2PY.

St Michael's Church has wheelchair friendly access, as well as disabled toilet facilities, and baby changing facilities.

There is a small kitchen for the preparation of refreshments for after services.

The Mark Bulman Parish Room building adjoins St Michael's Church. The Parish Room is for both church use and also for hire.

Young Church

This is a group for children aged 4 +, and we meet during the middle part of the 11 o'clock Church service, three out of four services. Many would recognise this as a 'sunday school' where we follow the “Roots” program, teaching our faith through art and craft style activities based around a Biblical story. There are two age groups, 4 to 8 years and 8 plus.

There is a creche run during all church services, providing a place with toys and books for parents with young children.
