We endeavour to support each other in as many ways as possible within our communities, there are a number of weekly groups that meet in members homes, and people are always welcome to join. There is also 'pastoral' support (generally referred to as visiting) so if you are unable to come to church, a minister or other appropriate person can come to you - to do 'home communion' for example.
We have a selection of groups that meet our homes for relaxed and friendly bible studies. Everyone is welcome to attend, and as we offer a selection of different days and times - there should be something available for everyone.
The group runs on a Monday night from 7.30 - 9.40 ish! During the evening we catch up on each others news, have a time of prayer and worship and then study the Bible before finishing with prayer. This is a very supportive group and there is lots of laughter mixed with lashings of love. The group decide what scriptures they wish to study. It is run by Revd. Carina Shergold. 01296 733882
This group meets for Bible Study in a member’s house in Steeple Claydon on a Tuesday evening at 7.45pm. In the past we have studied and discussed the readings that were used in the previous Sunday morning service, this is well suited to people who have attended an Alpha course in the past, and wish to continue meeting for more learning and spiritual growth.
