Unless stated, meeting place for all rides is the Village Centre car park, Rogers Lane, Stoke Poges, SL2 4LP
Participants must join the club before riding to be covered by our insurance.
Please bring water, a spare inner tube (in case of puncture) and a pump.
This season our group rides will be on the third Sunday of the month. Ride details are updated regularly so please check back.
15 April, Sunday – Tour de Stoke Poges 1.30 pm
Celebrate the installation of the new Stoke Poges cycle route signs by riding the 3.71 mile circuit. If you're feeling energetic you can ride it twice – both clockwise and anti-clockwise. Total distance 7.42 miles, leisurely pace but on roads.
12 May, Saturday – Ride out to Burnham Bike Day, 10.30 am
Heading south past Gray's Field, St Giles' church and the Memorial Gardens then skirting the north of Slough and across to Burnham Park to visit the Burnham Bike Day. Try a fruit smoothie made on a bike-powered machine, experience the Olympic velodrome on the virtual reality bike or watch a film in the bike-powered cinema. Plus your chance to have your bike checked over by Dr Bike and to find out about cycling opportunities in our area.

20 May, Sunday – Beaconsfield and Beeches Speedy 1.30 pm
An adults-only ride climbing to Hedgerley, over the M40 footbridge to Beaconsfield, west towards Holtspur, returning past Odds Farm to Littleworth Common and The Blackwood Arms for a refreshments stop. Then south around Burnham Beeches, Farnham Royal and back to Stoke. The group will ride at a speedy pace (over 12 mph on the flat) and the ride is suitable for riders with a reasonable level of fitness. Approx 19 miles, 2 hours 30 mins.
17 June, Sunday – Slough Skyrides
NB These rides replace the family ride to Black Park which has been postponed to 19 August.
15 July, Sunday – Family ride to Burnham Beeches 1.30 pm
On a quiet route north out of Stoke Poges, to Farnham Common and into the Beeches for ice creams at the cafe. Enjoy life in the slow lane along our local leafy roads, secure in group led by trained Sky Ride leaders.
19 August – Family ride to Black Park, Sunday 1.30 pm
9 September - Slough Canal Festival Orbital Ride, Sunday 10 am
Join a British Cycling Sky Ride Local for a 22 mile ride around Slough's boundary. Meet at Bloom Park, Middle Green Lane, Langley at 9.45 am. More details from www.goskyride.com
21 October, Sunday, 1.30 pm – New Beeches Cycleway to Dorney Lake.
Explore the new, signposted on-road route between Black Park and Dorney Lake (opens 2 October). Approx 24 miles round trip - allow 3 hours.
