Bourne End One-day Chess Congress
The Bourne End One-Day Chess Congress is a rapid play event of five rounds which takes place annually on the Sunday before Easter. Entrants are divided into divisions of about 16 players according to grading and players are matched according to Swiss pairing rules. The 39th. Congress will take place on Sunday 24th. March 2013. Entry forms will be available at the end of January 2013.

A survey was held to see what respondents thought of the effect of the ECF proposals on next year's entry arrangements. The organisers won't have to make a final decision till the end of the year when the arrangements of other congresses will become clear. The survey results are below.
